Mit Flattop werden Zellen mit flachem Pluspol bezeichnet! Die Oberseite des Pluspols ist bündig mit der Oberseite des Akkus. Industriezellen werdena als Flattop Variante ausgeliefert, dies erleicht die Konfektionierung eines Akkupacks mit Schweißverbindern. Das Gegenteil von Flat-Top ist High-Top bzw. Button-Top.
