Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. As an end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries to designated collection points.

You can return used batteries free of charge at local collection centers, municipal recycling facilities, participating retailers, or directly to AkkuPlus.com by mail.

Starter Battery Deposit Information

When purchasing a new starter battery without returning an old starter battery at the time of purchase, a mandatory deposit of EUR 7.50 (including VAT) is charged in accordance with German regulations.

The deposit will be refunded after a used starter battery has been returned or when proof of proper disposal has been provided.

How to Receive Your Starter Battery Deposit Refund

If you dispose of your old starter battery at a local collection point, please request written confirmation of disposal.

Customers are responsible for securely packaging the batteries. Our logistics partner will collect the shipment from the specified location.
